Get ready to welcome the One Direction boys into your living room!
No, the boys aren’t planning to travel the country visiting each of
their fans at home (sadly) – they have in fact landed their own TV show.
Rumours about the boys working on their own Nickelodeon TV show
surfaced last week, and have now been confirmed on Nick’s official
Twitter account with the kid’s TV network confirming that they are
working with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
“The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!”

One Direction are currently taking America by storm, so it’s not surprising that the US channel has signed them up. It’s good news for the 1D boys as well, just think how big Miley Cyrus became after starring in the Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. They are going to be the biggest boy band on the planet at this rate.
One Direction mania has well and truly hit the US, and it’s thought that their debut album Up All Night will reach the top of the charts when the new Hot 100 is announced on Wednesday.
American industry sources reckon the album is on course to sell between 160,000 and 180,000, which is likely to be enough to land the Number One position. And if that happens, they will be the first UK group in chart history to hit number one in their debut album’s first week of release.
